View Static GLB or glTF Scenes
Inspect a static glTF scene locally, with transformed geometry, bounds and material presence information.
Supported preview
GLB 2.0 and self-contained glTF with embedded base64 resources. Indexed or non-indexed float-position triangles in the default scene are displayed with their node transforms.
A geometry view of the default scene
The workbench shows the supported mesh primitives after node transforms, with object counts, millimetre bounds and material-presence information. It intentionally omits material appearance and textures. A scene that depends on animation, morphing or skinning is rejected instead of being displayed in an arbitrary pose.
How to use this viewer
- Choose a self-contained static scene.
- Inspect mesh groups and bounds in mm.
- Review omitted features below the preview.
Limitations to check
- Only the default scene is shown. Animation, skins, morph targets, sparse accessors, compression and glTF extensions are rejected rather than partially evaluated.
- Material presence is reported, but surface appearance, textures and vertex colors are not rendered. This is a geometry inspection view.
- External buffers and images are not fetched. Embedded resources are bounded, and metre-based source coordinates are displayed as millimetres.
File and processing limits
- GLB/glTF input up to 25 MiB, 4 MiB JSON, 16 buffers and 32 MiB total decoded embedded resources.
- 1,024 nodes, hierarchy depth 32, JSON depth 64, 256 primitives, 500,000 placed vertices and 250,000 triangles.
- 30 seconds per mesh job. Browser memory and device speed can impose lower practical limits.
