Technical information, not certification

3dtools.online offers general-purpose file utilities and explanatory guides, not professional engineering, design, manufacturing or safety certifications. A tool completing successfully does not mean a model is watertight, manifold, accurate to a required tolerance, printable, safe or valid for a particular downstream system.

Geometry and conversion limitations

Mesh-based formats can lose CAD parametric information. Tessellation changes continuous surfaces into triangles; conversion may omit materials, animation, scene hierarchy, texture references or unsupported format features. STL and some other geometry exchange workflows do not reliably encode intended physical units. Check scale, orientation, normals, components and quality against your original file.

Mesh checkers and repairs report or change selected classes of defects only. They do not detect or correct every self-intersection, non-manifold condition or physical fabrication problem. Consult the limitation notes on each tool page.

Use in consequential workflows

Always verify results independently before 3D printing, machining, medical use, construction, load-bearing design or other work where error could cause damage or injury. Keep a copy of source files before editing or converting.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as available, with no guarantee that every input, preview or export will work as intended. To the extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims warranties and liability for losses arising from reliance on the tools or guides. This does not limit rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
