A practical set of browser-based tools for inspecting, converting and preparing 3D files.
What we build
3dtools.online brings model viewing, format conversion, mesh checks, selected repairs, and geometry creation into one workbench. The site includes dedicated tools and format guides so you can choose a workflow based on what information your file contains.
Supported workflows include STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP/STP, GLB/glTF, PLY and selected FBX files. Each tool explains its supported subset, processing limits and potential information loss. Not every feature of every format is supported.
Your files stay under your control
The current tools read and process selected files on your device, using browser-side code and local processing workers rather than uploading models to a conversion server. Downloads are generated in the browser. Hosting may still receive ordinary requests for site assets and pages; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Why limitations are explicit
Converting a CAD surface to triangles, dropping scene materials, or reading a file without clear physical units can change what a model means. A successful export is not proof that the result is dimensionally correct, watertight, printable or suitable for production. Check your model in the destination application before relying on it.
