View Static Binary FBX Files
Inspect static binary FBX geometry with nested placements, source units and mesh statistics locally.
Supported preview
Binary FBX 7.1–7.7 static mesh instances, polygon triangulation and transformed source normals. Nested and geometric placements are reflected in the preview.
Check placed meshes before interchange
Mesh-instance counts and transformed bounds help you inspect a static FBX scene without its authoring application. The preview retains source axes and uses supplied normals transformed for each placement. Materials are counted but not rendered. Empty animation takes without curves are ignored explicitly; animated or deformed geometry is rejected.
How to use this viewer
- Choose a supported binary FBX file.
- Inspect source units, bounds, mesh instances and omitted content.
- Use the local preview.
Limitations to check
- Animated or deformed scenes, rigs, constraints, caches, LOD and non-mesh geometry cannot be inspected here. ASCII FBX is not accepted.
- The shaded preview omits textures, lights and cameras; material presence is reported without rendering it. Referenced assets are never fetched.
- Supported declared units become millimetres, while missing units stay unspecified. Source axes are retained, so an authoring application may show a different up direction.
File and processing limits
- Binary FBX up to 10 MiB; 512 nodes, 10,000 elements, hierarchy depth 32 and 128 placed meshes.
- 100,000 placed triangles; per source mesh: 200,000 vertices, 300,000 corners, 100,000 faces and 128 corners per polygon.
- 30 seconds per job; 64 MiB each for parser temporary/result allocations, 256 MiB maximum WASM heap, 24 MiB output. Browser rendering needs additional memory.
Processing happens in this browser; your file and filename are not uploaded. Cancel, reset or replace the file to stop its worker. Downloads are generated locally.
