LOCAL MODEL VIEWER
View Core 3MF Meshes
Inspect core 3MF mesh objects in their build positions, with declared source units and local preview.
Supported preview
The verified core mesh 3MF subset: ZIP32, core mesh resources, multiple build items and affine build transforms.
Inspect the model in its build positions
The preview reflects supported core mesh build items and their transforms, rather than showing each object at its unplaced local origin. Source units are reported and bounds use millimetres. A successful preview confirms the supported geometry could be read; it does not verify slicer settings, material assignments or manufacturing instructions.
How to use this viewer
- Choose a core mesh 3MF package.
- Review transformed geometry, source units and bounds.
- Read warnings about omitted package content.
Limitations to check
- Component assemblies, cross-part references, extensions, ZIP64 and encrypted packages are rejected.
- Colors, materials and manufacturing metadata are omitted. Coordinates are normalized to millimetres.
- The preview does not validate slicer instructions or certify printability; keep the source package for those settings.
File and processing limits
- 3MF input up to 25 MiB; 128 ZIP entries, 32 MiB per expanded entry, 64 MiB total declared expansion and maximum ratio 200:1.
- XML: 16 MiB per part, 32 nesting levels and 1.5 million elements. Mesh: 750,000 vertices, 250,000 triangles, 256 build objects.
- 30 seconds per mesh job. Browser memory and device speed can impose lower practical limits.
